In operation since 1980, Mothers Against Drunk Driving works to stop drunken driving as well as prevents underage drinking. Located in Tucson, Ariz., the organization aids the victims of crimes by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It also promotes corresponding public policies, programs and personal responsibilities against impaired driving. In addition to helping victims, the organization increases public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving.
