About North-Aire North-Aire is an F.A.A. approved Part 61 and Part 141 flight school. North-Aire has earned a reputation for providing some of the finest flight training available, with the individualized attention that all students require. Our facilities include classrooms, a student lounge, and a computer testing room. The lounge provides a place to relax and study before and after daily training. Love Field, Prescott Municipal Airport, which is tower-controlled class Delta airspace with limited radar services, has published instrument approaches and is operational 24 hours a day. Prescott has parallel runways and a crosswind runway, eliminating departure and arrival delays often found at many other airports. The Prescott and Phoenix areas offer a multitude of published instrument approaches such as Instrument Landing Systems, Localizer, Localizer Backcourse, VOR, VOR/DME, NDB, RNAV, GPS and PAR approaches. This provides our students with the opportunity to fly every type of published instrument approach available in the United States. The area Flight Service Station is also located on the airport which makes it simple to get a personalized flight briefing. North-Aire is a designated testing site for Laser Grade Computer Testing. This gives our students the opportunity to take each of the required FAA knowledge ( written ) exams on the premises. Practice tests are available on our personal computers, allowing each student to practice before each of the FAA written examinations.
