Arie Bernard Werbrouck is a skilled string instrument maker based in Brussels, Belgium, specializing in the creation of fine violins, violas, and cellos. A graduate of both the Interlochen Arts Academy and New England Conservatory, Mr. Werbrouck honed his craft at the North Bennett Street School of Violin Making in Boston, where he studied under the renowned Roman Barnas.
Having collaborated with esteemed violin makers such as Ray Melanson and Feng Jiang, he has also held luthier positions at Johnson Strings in Boston and Shar Violin Shop in Ann Arbor. Mr. Werbrouck's exceptional work was recognized at the 2018 Violin Society of America's International Violin Making Competition, where his Del Gesu model violin won a Silver Medal for Violin Workmanship among 295 entries.
