History

When Brittany began teaching Kindergarten in Oklahoma, she was also attaining her master's degree and Reading Specialist Endorsement. Perplexed by the gap in what her students needed to know and what they were actually retaining in a whole group setting, she used early intervention in a one on one setting to achieve success. It was even more clear when she went on to teach first grade, that students NEEDED an individual program that targeted their specific needs one-on-one that the large classroom setting could not provide. She discovered after continual student success in tutoring sessions, that the gap in her students' reading ability could be closed and that every child COULD learn to read successfully and develop a lifelong love of learning. Brittany has been in private practice, collaborating with teachers and parents in Oklahoma, Chicago, California, and Arizona.
