Glacier Bay National Park

Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is a park, biosphere reserve and world heritage site that includes tidewater glaciers, snow-capped mountain ranges, ocean coastlines, deep fjords, and freshwater rivers and lakes. It features a variety of plant communities and marine and terrestrial wildlife, as well as provides several learning opportunities. The park offers various adventure activities, including hiking, camping, mountaineering, rafting, kayaking, tour vessels, private boating and ranger activities. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is located in Gustavus, Alaska, and is a part of National Park Service, which is a network of more than 400 natural, cultural and recreational sites throughout the United States. It is a bureau within the Department of the Interior.
