For Anchorage visitors without rental cars who want to hike Flattop Mountain. Service starts June 1 and ends on September 8. Roundtrip 15-person passenger van between downtown and Glen Alps trailhead for $25 includes $2 State Park tax. No guide is needed to hike this popular easy to follow trail. Van departs Downtown Bicycle Rental at 12:15 and takes slower, longer scenic route through the university to the mountain. Van remains parked from 1 pm to 4 pm while you hike on your own as slow and as little or as fast and far as you like. Everyone meets back at the van at 4 and then we take the fast route back arriving downtown at 4:30. Driver points out some sights along the way. In a nutshell this is a 30 mile low-key circuit tour of the Anchorage bowl and an unguided mountain hike above it for only $25.

Highly recommend this guys! Great crew and a very affordable way to visit Flattop Mountain. Shuttle departs at 12:15pm and returns from Flattop at 4pm. Around trip cost $23. Have fun and enjoy...

This was the easiest possible way to do Flattop, and everything worked out well. It's a reasonable price (way cheaper than getting a car or Uber) and you even get a little city tour along the way....
