Took the winter train from Fairbanks to Anchorage (which took about 12 hours). I was surprised to see as many people on the train as there was. No sleeping cars, but the train is very comfortable....

Super cool space considering it's a train depot. Beautiful woodwork inside and a model train exhibit with a VERY enthusiastic model train club member docent. Couldn't ask for more!
