Established in 1995, Century Care Center is a nursing and residential unit for patients with complex health care needs. It is a more than 70-bed nursing facility that provides private and semi-private rooms, dining area, grooming salons, and day and rehabilitation rooms for physical, occupational and speech therapy patients. The center provides 24-hour nursing services, including wound care and pain management, dental screenings, and geriatric psychiatry, podiatry, optometry and audiology services. In addition, the center provides hospice, laundry and pharmacy services, medication management, dietetic programming and nourishment care services. The center s staff includes various personnel in administration, nursing, dietary, activities, social and environmental services and maintenance departments. University Hills Health and Rehabilitation is a place to get better, a place for living. We are a 120-bed skilled nursing center, and a proud member of the Consulate Health Care family. Opened in 1984, we have 16 private rooms, 52 semi-private rooms, and can provide accommodations for couples that become residents of our care center. University Hills also offers features such as an outdoor recreation area, garden and patio, a rehab gym, a beauty/barber shop, a library, a worship area, pastoral support and transportation services. Residents and often time's family too, can enjoy planned activities such as excursions, various arts and crafts, gardening, group movies, discussion groups, visiting performers, and intergenerational programs.
