At our Oxford training facility, youll learn both the technical and operational aspects of driving a semi-truck. Training includes maintaining driver logs, map reading, trip planning, and conducting pre-trip safety inspections. The hands-on portion of our program places you behind the wheel of a full-sized 18-wheeler, where youll practice shifting, turning, and backing maneuvers. Once you've mastered driving forwards and backwards, you'll be tested for your Alabama Class A CDL license.
