SpecialtiesAzalea Place Retirement Living offers thirty one-bedroom or two-bedroom cottages with screened-in porches and one-car garages. While all the yard work is provided, some residents enjoy adding plants around the cottage. The spacious living-dining area and master bedroom each have tray ceilings with fans. The kitchens boast a pantry in addition to the refrigerator with ice-maker, dish washer, garbage disposal, electric stove/oven and microwave. One-bedroom cottages provide a stackable washer/dryer in the bathroom with a bathtub while the two-bedroom also includes a seated shower with the washer-dryer located in the hall. Meals are served in the main dining room in the assisted living residence. Additionally, private dining may be arranged. Azalea Place accommodates our assisted living residents in its 42-bed residence decorated is rich hues of blue and burgundy. A formal living room, activity room with large screen TV, a library area several areas to gather and visit, and lots of level walking areas outside are available. Residents are free to come and go as they wish and/or participate in a variety of activities at this upbeat community. A LPN and our Care Assistants are available 24 hours a day. Residents choose from the variety of choices provided on a menu for each meal served in their spacious dining room. Azalea Place is part of Summer Village, a senior living community with a continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Azalea Place contains our assisted living and independent living.

Oak Park is a senior living retirement community that provides assisted living, respite care and skilled nursing services. It includes a 70-plus-bed nursing home that fulfils the medical, mental, physical and social needs of the residents. The community also offers pastoral, pain management and therapy services. Its terrace includes apartments with kitchens that are equipped with refrigerators. Oak Park s terrace provides food, transportation and housekeeping services. The community has a heated outdoor pool and a lounge with fireplace. Additionally, its dietician and dietary supervisor offers nutritional counseling services. Located in Auburn, Ala., Oak Park is a part of the East Alabama Medical Center, which provides health care services.
