Delta Behavioral Health

Located in Mobile, Ala., Mobile Mental Health Center is a regional community behavioral health organization that manages and provides comprehensive mental health services to individuals, families and the community through a network of providers. The center offers various services, including outpatient and residential care for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults. Established in 1957, it offers various outpatient services, including psychiatric, nursing, counseling, case management, psychological testing, education and day treatment for children and adolescents. The center s adult outpatient services include posthospital followups, and emergency crisis and in-house pharmaceutical services. It offers assistance to patients with mental retardation services, including screenings, assessments, referrals and case management through the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. The center has a more than 90-bed, Medicaid-certified children s hospital with a swimming pool and gymnasium that offers inpatient crisis stabilization, day treatment and residential services for children and adolescents 5 to 18 years of age.
