At our Jacksonville, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

So went here to get food. The fish I ordered was actually chicken. The fries were not fresh, hush puppies were not the great. The manger was arguing on her phone. The only employee that ac helped...

Waited in drive thru 16 minutes gave up and went inside where I had to wait another 10 minutes. They were apparently short staffed or poor scheduling either one I won't go there again

I ordered food to go...a 5.99 special good...and a chicken tender meal....I ask the clerk if they were still hand battering the chicken and she said yes...got my food and went home...sitting down...

Overall it was a good experience. Staff seemed friendly and attentive, restaurant was clean and condiment bar well stocked. Food came out quickly and was hot and tasty.
