Sandland Beach

A scenic hike along a ridge towards the summit of Vardfjellet, at 603 meters above sea level. We start at Bakkeby and hike towards a gentle ridge which will lead us to the summit of Vardfjellet. Approaching the summit, the view will open up more and more, giving us a scenic experience of the mountains, fjords and rural communities of Northern Troms.

Our outdoor activity park has something for everyone, and you don’t need any previous experience to participate. A perfect activity for children and families to enjoy nature and create good memories together. The climbing park is suitable for all ages, and there are different trails with different levels of difficulty. There are six different trails that vary in activity, level of difficulty and height. The park has 55 obstacles and 10 zip lines through the woods and tree tops. Our longest zip line is 207 meters long and you achieve a speed of up to 50-60 km / h. Each track has obstacles and zip lines that are safely built in the pine trees. The ski resort is nestled in a beautiful setting overlooking the Alta Fjord and the valleys that surround the town. It’s a cozy and family-friendly winter park that’s great for everyone, whatever your age or fitness level. We have slopes of all difficulties and a snow-park for those who want to challenge themselves with jumps and rails.
