Orsdalen Turistsenter

Mydland campsite is located in the south-west of Sirdal. It is a thriving activity centre for both children and adults. The area has several excellent cross-country trails, all starting at the campsite.

An autenthic Norwegian experience! Byrkjedalstunet, located at an intersection of roads 45 and 503, is a unique and lovely place to enjoy Norwegian traditions at their best. If you are dreaming of waking up to the sound of our playful goats on the grassy hillside, birds tweeting and a stream flowing, please treat yourself to an overnight stay at our charming hotel. Free parking. Our restaurant was once a local diary. The food is made in our kitchen preferably using ourn own crop. We know all the details about each Hereford beef as the cattle has been born and raised at our own farm. Our candle factory transports you into Peer Gynt's world, and has a 1100m2 sized outlet with handmade candles, elecant decorations, handcrafts, delicacies from small-scale producers and so much more. Our Christmas Attic is open all year. We are a natural starting point for the main tourist attractions in the region: The Pulpit Rock, Kjaerag, Lysefjorden, Månafossen waterfall, Gloppedalsura etc. Welcome!

Veen Gardscamping is located in the village of Veen in Bjerkreim county. We are close to the famous watercourse of Bjerkreimsvassdraget, which provides access to sport fishing. We are situated near Eigersund, on the road Rv503 between Vikesa and Byrkjedal. We are 45km north of Eigersund, 20km from Vikesa and 8km from Byrkjedal where there is a cozy cafe. Our accommodations: We have one large cabin with approximately 60 sqm, this cabin is furnished with two double beds and two sets of bunk beds. This Cabin has three bedrooms (sleeps 8), washroom, kitchen, Television (no satelite dish), freezer, fridge and hot and cold water. It was built in 1995 and is bright and thriving. In addition we have nine smaller cabins with two sets of bunk beds in each (sleeps 4), fridge and a coffee maker. Washrooms and Showers (hot and cold water) are located in the Sanitation building near by. We also have barrier-free washroom accessibility. We accept single travelers, groups, school groups, etc. We are open for both day visits and extended overnight stays (call for appointment).
