Helt siden 1928 har Ølhallen vært en institusjon for både reisende og innbyggere i Tromsø. I dag er Ølhallen et av de mest særpregede stedene i byen, et sted hvor folk i alle aldre møtes og får mulighet til å smake et bredt utvalg øl fra Mack og andre norske bryggerier.
