With large areas for animals and visitors, Bjørneparken differs from other zoos by having large enclosures and fewer animals in their natural habitat. Because of the large enclosures, you are advised to follow the hourly feeding schedule to get close to the animals. Bjørneparken focuses on animal welfare, conservation and environnmental protection. One of the largest zoos in Norway, situated only 1,5 hours drive from Oslo. In the park you will find Bears, Lynx, Leopard, reptiles, moose, fox, deer and a lot of farm animals. New from 2020 is the Amur leopard, one of the most endangered cats in the world. Bjørneparken participates in the protection of this species. Daily feeding schedule makes it easy for our guests to experience the highlights of the park. Large outdoor and one indoor playground for children. Animals are kept in large outdoor natural exhibits, but if you follow the daily program you will see each of the animals up close. A must-see when in the area.
