Have you spotted the smallest inhabitants of Leeuwarden yet? More than 50,000 people, from 8 to 88+ years old, have walked the route and spotted the tiny scenes. In the center of Leeuwarden there are 67 scenes at 53 locations, where you can admire the dolls and take a picture with them. The route runs through the most beautiful streets of Leeuwarden city center and takes about one to one and a half hours, depending on how quickly you spot them! You can walk the route with a paper map or via the website. The paper route map has been realized in collaboration with A Guide to Leeuwarden and is available for only €2.00 at Visitor Center Leeuwarden, Ut Streekie, Afûk, Post-Plaza Hotel, Van der Valk Hotel, Oranje Hotel, Notiz Hotel, Camperplaats Leeuwarden, Salon Postma hairdressers, Natuurmuseum Fryslân, WTC Hotel Leeuwarden, Hotel Stadhouderlijk Hof, CEZZ, Treinenpassage, NØRD, Mooi Skeef and Four Seasons. You will find all addresses on the website. In addition, most locations have a sign with a QR code that refers to the website, where you will find all information regarding the route and map. We are Sealcentre Pieterburen, one of the oldest and best seal rehabilitation centres in the world. On our campus and field station live and work volunteers and researchers from all over the world. By our collective passion and multidisciplinary approach we form a learning community. We transfer our passion to the public and make them aware of our mission. For years we have a passion and take care for the seal, including its environment. A clean and healthy Wadden Sea is very dear to us. This unique piece of nature has the title 'World heritage' and we should treat it accordingly; for now, for later and for our children. This puts a great responsibility on as human beings and as a social enterprise. The role of the seal is crucial; it is the indicator of a clean sea. We measure, monitor, rehabilitate and share our knowledge. To keep both the seal and its habitat healthy and to offer our knowledge and expertise internationally.

Bezoekerscentrum Nunspeet is located directly to the Veluwetransferium. There's a exhibition about the Veluwe. Especially for the kids there's a gnomehut. In the bezoekerscentrum is a souvenirshop with local products. Different trails can be started from here.
