Garden-terrace and Bed & Breakfast [H]eerlijk! is located on the Amstel in a former lock keeper complex from the early 1800s. The coziness of the lock, in combination with the tranquility of the adjacent polders, provide an unforgettable experience. Various cycling and walking routes pass the garden. When you cross the lock bridges on foot, you will be delighted by this beautiful location. As quiet and picturesque as it is in winter, it is just as cozy in summer: cyclists, walkers, boats and also people who come to see boat’s in the lock. If you go on a discovery venture through the garden, you may see our glass tea house, the animals and the playground. All this makes it an experience for young and old. In the garden you can spoil yourself with fair trade and organic products. Here you can enjoy coffee, tea, ice cream, juice and homemade cake. It is also possible to enjoy a homemade High Tea (only after reservation).

Opening April 12th again Teagarden 'The Fig Tree' is a perfect location for a good cup of coffee or tea in a peaceful open garden, which is surrounded with green houses and you can visit our unique hortensia's. You can find cakes, pies and scones made with love. And if you find delight in savoury, a soup, quiche and tosti etc. are a lovely option. Beauty, peace and coziness are our high values.
