The Jamaican Association on Intellectual Disabilities (JAID) was established in 1956. Today it is the oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization of parents, professionals, and volunteers providing leadership in the field of intellectual disability. Our various programs, for which we have partnered with the government, continue to provide a range of services to improve the quality of life for persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
