The history of the guesthouse Locanda Canareggio and its owners is lost in the mists of time; looking at some maps dated 1600/1700 you can find some signs of the building that was used as refreshments for travellers. Therefore, the Guesthouse is situated along Meolo River, considered a useful transport route some centuries ago. In 1994 we bought the building and we restored it completely organizing it as both a countryside restaurant that offers local dishes and a pizzeria. Seven years later, thanks to the great success of our management, we extended our Guesthouse and bought an old cottage next to our building, restoring it to its original appearance. During these last years, we realized the bedrooms, developed and invested in our services with passion, in order to satisfy the exigencies of our guests...and we are still working to improve our structure adding other efficient services. The cuisine is one of our strong points: we make use of some of our products and prepare our menus with natural spicy plants, focusing on a natural offer of wine and food that belong to our local habits, giving the chance to our guests to discover the dishes of the Venetian tradition. At out Guesthouse Canareggio our guests can also taste our special pizzas cooked by Roberto that offers you both the traditional soy flour dough and some special dough according to your exigencies. We can provide you with a detailed sheet of dough composition on demand. As specified in our price list our guests may stay in our Guesthouse choosing b&b, half-board or full-board accommodation. Our guests may decide to have the breakfast included in the price of the bedroom or the buffet option.
