All of the flavor of traditional Ligurian craftsmanship! Direct from Santa Margherita Ligure, the Fiordiponti bakery has arrived in Milan. Not only for focaccia take-away, Fiordiponti Bakery & Cafe is an ideal meeting point for breakfast, lunch or a long aperitif, in a characteristic location with tables "made for conversation" and wood furnishings. A project conceived by the port of Santa Margherita, between a glass of Pigato and lots of focaccia, thanks to the resourcefulness of Alberto Fiordiponti, the bakery's founder, as well as of Gerry Volpi and Federico Servadio, two young Milanese entrepreneurs with an unrestrained passion for Ligurian focaccia. The project soon materialized: directly from Santa Margherita Ligure, the Fiordiponti bakery thus landed in the Milan with its specialties, in a location redesigned with a Milanese touch, with a bar counter as well as a dining room, open from morning until after dinner. The classic Genovese focaccia, the "farinata", focaccia with cheese, pizza with "stracchino" cheese and the "Pasqualina" pie are accompanied by regional dishes such as "trofie" with pesto or "pansotelli" in walnut sauce. Not only for take-away, from Monday to Saturday, the Fiordiponti Bakery & Cafe is in fact an ideal place to meet for a breakfast of artisanal pastries such as croissants and cakes, or for lunch, with a menu full of genuine dishes, all to be discovered. In the evening, with the lights dimmed and soft music, a "long aperitif" is a must, during which you can taste some of the bakery's typical products from the buffet, accompanied by wine, beer and cocktails prepared with skill by our barman with twenty years of experience, Daniele Moroni, in a "warm" location characterized by wooden furnishings and canvas prints of Santa Margherita Ligure at the beginning of the century.
