The Blue Lion

The Blue Lion sits at the crossroads of the lovely village of Cynwyd which nestles between the town's of Corwen and Bala in beautiful North Wales. It's an old listed building which we have very tastefully renovated to accommodate the old values of a proper local pub and also a quiet, intimate place where you can sit and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by our award winning chef. At the bar end of the pub we have a games room with darts and jukebox, another room where you can sit comfortably or just lean on the bar whilst watching Sky Sports on one of our three tv's. Then there's a central room with a bar and seating to socialise and order up some delicious bar meals. If something quieter is to your liking you'll be taken through to our sumptuous restaurant where you can enjoy our a la carte menu, or weather permitting have it outside on our terraced garden. We cater for all dietary requirements and have a well stocked bar of both local and national beers.
