The Halfway House is the smallest pub in Edinburgh and situated a stone's throw from Waverley station - halfway up a flight of stairs ( a Close ) leading from the New Town up to the Old Town. The pub is popular with all kinds of people - tourists, locals, professionals, students and even the odd celebrity! Famous for its real ales & whiskies - the pub is an excellent spot to stop for a while, relax and experience the Pub's unique atmosphere. You'll be very welcome!!
