Iffley Residential and Nursing Home is a beautiful care home in Oxford surrounded by landscaped gardens and woodland, situated in a picturesque rural village. Our dedicated team provides a range of care and support for our residents including residential care, nursing care, dementia care, palliative care and respite care.

Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Zimo, whose incredible journey at Iffley Residential and Nursing Home reminds us of the power of volunteering. After nearly three years as a volunteer, Zimo recently completed a week-long work experience placement that offered a fresh perspective on care. From leading fitness sessions and karaoke to supporting residents on outings and hosting a Sanctuary-wide Pub Quiz, Zimo embraced every moment with the residents. One highlight? A visit from Hector the therapy dog, bringing smiles all around! Zimo says, “Even familiar spaces can feel new... change is part of life.” Thank you, Zimo, and all our volunteers, for making a difference every day.
