Time Court is an attractive care home with lovely gardens located in a residential area of Charlton. The care home is close to several shops, eateries and is a 15-minute walk from Woolwich Dockyard train station, providing direct access to London and all its wonderful attractions. Our dedicated team provides a range of care and support for our residents, including residential care, nursing care, palliative care and respite care. The care home also includes its own day care centre which is run by AGE UK.
We're proud to launch A Lifetime of Flavours, a heartfelt celebration of food, family, and the incredible lives behind the dishes. This beautifully curated cookbook features over 40 cherished recipes from Sanctuary Care residents across the UK. This isn't just a recipe collection, it's a part of how we bring to life our Enriching Lives Framework, which is based on research into what truly matters as we age. At the heart of this book is one of our 'Six Senses'; the Sense of Continuity. We believe in empowering those in our care to sustain their passions, identities and routines - such as cooking! From traditional pasties and spicy curries to comforting cakes and festive favourites, each dish tells a story, a memory passed down through generations. 👩🏽‍🍳👨‍🍳 Whether it's Iona's Clootie Dumplings, Delita's Jamaican Goat Curry, or Malcolm's Cornish Splits, every page is filled with love, legacy, and the joy of sharing. 🧡 Why this book matters: - It celebrates the Sense of Continuity for our wonderful residents - It honours the culinary traditions of our residents - It preserves family recipes for future generations - It celebrates the power of food to connect, comfort and inspire Proceeds raised via our initial limited print run will go towards supporting Mental Health UK💙
