Verulam Lodge, established in 1945, is one of the oldest Masonic lodges within the Hertfordshire Province, located at Ashwell House in St Albans. The lodge prides itself on being welcoming to members from diverse backgrounds, including professionals such as accountants, teachers, and mechanics.

In celebration of its 80th year, Verulam Lodge meets on Saturdays, a schedule designed to accommodate those with weekday work commitments. The meetings, which last between one and two hours, are followed by dinner, fostering a sense of community among its members.
