The White Horse

The White Horse is an attractive 16th century pub in the village of Hascombe nestled in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 8 miles from Guildford and at the crossways of numerous footpaths, cycle routes and bridleways including the Greensand Way. The White Horse retains its old world charm with timber beams & wood fires to warm you on cold winter days. The Dining Terrace & beer garden to the rear of the pub are havens of tranquillity in the summer months while the front terrace is a lovely spot to enjoy the setting sun. As a Free House, we offer a varied selection of local and guest beers & ales while our wine list provides a diverse range of old & new world wines. Guests have the option of enjoying a traditional pub “classics” menu or a selection of seasonal dishes served in the relaxed atmosphere of the newly refurbished Dining Room with Head Chef Valentino Gentile using the abundance of fresh local produce to offerinteresting and uncomplicated menus.
