The Old School Muker

Situated in the picturesque village of Muker, in magical upper-Swaledale, the Old School Gallery & Craft Centre showcases the best regional and British art and crafts. Our gallery represents the work of some of Yorkshire’s finest artists, offering an ever evolving mix of styles and mediums. The craftshop stocks a wide range of local and British produced merchandise from soft furnishings and ceramics, to metalwork and natural skin care products. Our private, walled, garden, offers a place to relax and soak up views of the surrounding fells, enjoy a coffee from the bean-to-cup machine, or a chilled drink and a cake bar. The gallery and craft centre are uniquely housed in Muker’s 19th century schoolhouse with a history dating back to the 1690’s and surrounded by the stunning fells and magical waterfalls of upper Swaledale, part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
