This pub was frequented by Lord Nelson in the 18th century. This recently extended and iconic, historic public house, built in 1637 and set in the idyllic village of Burnham Thorpe, close to the award-winning beaches on the North Norfolk coast. Famed as the birthplace of Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson and the pub which now bears his name is the authentic and original haunt of Lord Nelson. We now offer the best of local produce that changes with the seasons. Passion is the best ingredient in our cooking. Serving the best quality Woodforde’s ales and Woodforde’s 52˚ north draft range beers. Whether you are visiting to sample our beautiful beer or looking for some good quality food with the family rest assured that at The Lord Nelson you will receive a warm and hearty welcome.
