The Hit or Miss

We're a pub in the village of Penn Street near Amersham located in the Chilterns, an area of outstanding beauty. Ownership changed hands in November 2018 and we have received fantastic reviews. We serve snacks, lunch and dinner and hot and cold drinks (food serving times elsewhere). We welcome families, children, large groups, walkers and are known for being dog-friendly. We are located near Penn Woods and Holy Trinity Church which are popular destinations to begin a walk through the woods and we are a perfect end to that walk! Be sure to book in advance for Sunday lunch as we get very busy, book online or by telephone, we can generally accommodate 'walk ins'.
