The Hearth Arts Centre and Cafe

The Hearth Arts Centre celebrates Arts, Heritage, and Culture. Our space hosts eight professional artists who welcome visitors to explore and acquire original artworks. Enjoy a rich programme of creative workshops, courses and activities centred around health and wellbeing or delve into a world of music and performance. Explore the diverse artistic community of the North East at the Art Fair & Open Studios event held in the Spring and Autumn. Nestled in a restored 17th-century Manse, the Hearth includes a Café which serves as a beloved centrepiece in the heart of Horsley Village, set in the breathtaking Tyne Valley, a short distance from the iconic Hadrian’s Wall. Monday - Closed Tues, Thurs & Fri 9.30am – 4.00 pm Wed 9.30 am – 3.00 pm Sat-Sun 10 am – 4.00 pm. Art centre opens when events take place.
