Sunnyside Rural Trust’s farm shop has expanded to create a magical family-friendly space to enjoy homemade wholesome dishes using locally produced ingredients. Sunnyside Up Café & Farm shop provides adults with learning disabilities & care leavers with valuable work experience. Trainees grow & harvest fruit & vegetables which are served in the café & sold in the farm shop. The trainees will have an opportunity to develop new skills by working in the cafe; make jams & chutneys, bake cakes, serve customers & handle money. Customers can enjoy outdoor seating surrounded by herbs & colourful plants. You enter the café from the canal so the café is a great place to stop off during a walk or bike ride. Dogs are welcome. The café is also available to hire. Customers love the fact they are able to combine buying their weekly veg shop with a barista coffee, cake or lunch
