Soho Dairy

We're a dairy stall on Berwick Street Market, doing decent milks and creams, artisan cheeses, a selection of butters, free-range and biodynamic eggs - all from small producers across the UK. Local Lockdown requests led to additions of authentic Greek yoghurt, feta, halloumi and buffalo mozzarella (ahem, and loo roll) then, when polite request turned into screaming need, came our hand-blended Ethiopian fairly-traded, organic, espresso coffees sourced from the Oromia Co-operative. One thing led to another and in came the Belgian dark hot chocolate with oat, almond, coconut, pea, vegan soya alternatives and a cargo bike. We are where we are. Soho Dairy existed as fields of cows before maps were drawn in 1561 and Berwick Street was laid out in 1687. Despite being shifted from park to post, pillar to pandemic, we're still here thanks to the good people of Soho, a handful of maverick hotel and restaurant chefs and a Royal Artillery unit (it's a long story).
