Rose & Crown Restaurant and Bar

A restaurant that shows Head Chef Mark Dunn's affinity for world foods with a 3 course (3,3,3) menu that varies from seasonal to exotic dishes along with a bar menu of traditional pub food and bar snacks. They also serve delicious authentic stone baked pizza. Set on a hillside in the 11th Century village of Islip over looking the River Nene and on the Nene Way Footpath. Ideal for walkers, couples and groups. There is a lovely decking area (non-smoking) which food is served to on warm summer evenings with a great view of the river and nearby woods. Booking is highly recommended as the restaurant seats 26 and can fill up fast. The garden is great for children with seating, plenty of grass and an assortment of little tikes play equipment. Clean, Dry Dogs are welcome on the deck and in the billiards room. Sunday Lunch is their busiest service with booking essential. The slow cooked Beef is to die for with seasonal variants such as lamb added where appropriate.
