South Road
Alnwick, England NE66 2NZ
Ravenslaw house is the former home of fishing tycoon William hardy. Built in 1897 it is of stunning architectural design, based upon a Scottish baronial castle with private parking & gardens. It has been recently refurbished with comfort decadence style and opulence incorporating up to date bathroom facilities in rich dark fabrics and styles to recapture the Victorian era. Ravenslaw house is situated in the centre of the historic town of Alnwick famous for its castle home to Duke & Duchess of Northumberland and gardens now recognised as a worldwide tourist attraction. There are numerous restaurants in town and it is just a few steps walk into ‘Barter Books’, Europe’s largest second-hand bookstore and restaurant set in the former Victorian railway station. Close by is Aln Valley Railway where one may experience steam engine experiences, and a very short drive to Alnmouth beach, and Bamburgh beach and castle.
