Situated in the verdant beauty of the Somerset countryside, at a charming hamlet with a medieval stone cross, Nut Tree Farm is a 16th century farmhouse wonderful bed and breakfast, set in two acres of semi wild garden, orchard and woods. Built when Elizabeth I was on the throne, and the bard put pen to paper, Nut Tree Farm is located just over a mile from the lovely village of Wedmore. This fantastic bed and breakfast was featured in the Channel Four program, 'Three in a bed'.The Weeping Cherry Suite has a super king size 6 foot wide bed which can also be configured as twin beds, plus an extra single bed. The Weeping Withy Suite has a super king size bed, which can also be twin beds, both are full en-suite bathrooms with showers over baths, bidets. The Weeping Silver Birch Room has a four-foot wide (small double) bed, and an en-suite with a shower & WC. All three are full of character and maintained to the highest standards with flat screen TV's, and a complimentary selection of hot beverages.Naturally a delicious and wonderfully extensive breakfast menu awaits you in the morning, served in the lounge or garden room. The menu includes a sumptuous traditional English breakfast including real gold award winning sausages and genuine oak smoked bacon, free range eggs, 9 cereals including sugar free granola, fresh fruit, a range of juices, wholemeal and specialty toast, a large selection of marmalades, preserves, local honey, live yogurt. Both vegetarians and vegans are catered for with a mouth-watering choice of dishes. Special diets are happily catered for by prior arrangement. Organic and local produce wherever possible.The home of the very creative Firmager family of artists, guests pass through the small gallery of their creations on their way to the accommodation. Woodturning courses are also available by prior arrangement.
