Neighbourhood Elders Team (Net)

The Neighbourhood Elders Team (NET) is a charity dedicated to supporting the over-60s in Garforth and the surrounding villages of East Leeds, covering an area of 45 square miles. Since its inception in 2001, NET has relied on the invaluable contributions of volunteers to provide essential services and foster a sense of community among its clients.

In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, NET has expanded its support to include other community members in need and has secured funding for the ENHANCE project, which focuses on assisting individuals recently discharged from hospital. The organization continues to thrive thanks to the generosity of local businesses, individuals, and the unwavering commitment of its volunteers, who are celebrated as the true jewels in NET's crown.
