Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre

Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre, founded in Chorlton, Manchester in 1975, is a pioneering establishment for the Kagyu tradition of Buddhism in the UK. With the support of Lama Jampa Thaye and his main teacher, Karma Thinley Rinpoche, the centre has offered a welcoming space for over 40 years for individuals to learn, study, and practice Buddhism.

The centre hosts a range of events, including meditation classes, study groups, and retreats, and has welcomed numerous esteemed Tibetan masters such as the 16th and 17th Karmapas.
