Gad's Hill Place, located in Higham, Kent, was the cherished country home of the illustrious author Charles Dickens during the last 14 years of his life. This Georgian rectory, perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views, served as a retreat where Dickens completed several of his most famous works, including "A Tale of Two Cities" and "Great Expectations."
