The Dent Village Museum and Heritage Centre offers visitors a unique insight into the working lives and social customs of the Dales folk, showcasing a rich collection of genuine artefacts. The heritage centre, beautifully converted from a former filling station, was established by local residents Jim and Margaret Taylor, who dedicated years to rescuing and refurbishing traditional items on display.
In addition to its informative exhibits, the centre provides guided tours led by resident historian Jonathon Miller, followed by a delightful cream tea in their tearoom. Visitors can also explore the Flintergill Outrake Nature Trail and enjoy the vibrant local knitting community at the Dent Knitters.
