A gentle climb through woodland to follow a high route to England's smallest complete church, which can only be reached on foot along the South West Coast Path. There are spectacular views across the Bristol Channel on a clear day. The 4.7 mile route passes the romantic remnants of Lord Byron's daughter's gothic mansion, with tunnels carved out of the hillside by 19th-century Swiss mountaineers.
