Chet Valley Vineyard

Chet Valley Vineyard is a sustainable family run Vineyard and Winery based in Bergh Apton, South Norfolk with 20 acres planted with cool climate grape varieties. Award winning artisan wines are hand crafted by prize winning winemaker John Hemmant using a fusion of modern equipment - stainless steel tanks and a pneumatic grape press, and traditional techniques including double fermentation to make Sparkling wine using the Great British Classic Method. Vineyard tours and wine tastings are available from March to October (details and dates available to book on line). Groups of 10 or more are welcome (children free & well behaved dogs allowed). Cellar door sales of wine - ring ahead to confirm the team are available. There are opportunities to become involved with the vineyard especially at harvest time in late September/early October.
