Bistro Gourmand

Easy to find in the picturesque village of Rottingdean you will find the French inspired restaurant, Bistro Gourmand. French chef Frank Thomeret tell us about his creation. "It's very much a bistro thing, but its original, traditional bistro food, things you might not find somewhere else. My influences are very Mediterranean, so I make dishes such as the bouillabaisse, its a fish stew with garlic and wine flambe with prawns. My menu has wonderful variety, as well as steaks, I have coq au vin, veal chops and lamb cassoulet. The portions are generous and the price very reasonable. I call it Provencal cuisine". So if you fancy some delicious home cooked food with a difference, then this is the place for you.
