Norville & Dobinson Opticians was formed in 2020 following the merger of two long-established independent opticians in Downend. Norville Opticians has been serving the people of Downend for more than 30 years, and Adrian Dobinson Opticians for nearly 20 years. We decided that we would be a stronger independent practice if we worked together, and from this, Norville & Dobinson was created. When you come and visit us, you can expect a warm welcome and a friendly, professional service. We can use the latest technology to care for your eyes with an eye exam tailored to you. Our wide range of spectacle frames means there is something to suit every face and every pocket. We are always pleased to see long-established clients but also welcome new patients. Norville Opticians provide a full range of eye care services including eye examinations, a comprehensive selection of frames and lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses and much more. We believe in providing a high standard of service and only use qualified optometrists and dispensing staff, all of whom are registered with the General Optical Council for eye examinations and fittings.

In 1998 Bennett & Rogers re-located our Axminster branch to provide our patients with a more modern, spacious environment to have their eyes tested in. Today, you can look forward to an impressive range of branded eyewear at our practice, as well as a team full of personality and dedicated to the care you receive.
