Maison Funambule

Designed primarily as a Bed & Breakfast, with a focus on creating a retreat for seminars, the tranquil environment of Maison Funambule delivers a sense of calm and wellbeing. A creatively-stepped garden built into the side of the hill offers a peaceful setting in which to enjoy breakfast al fresco, or simply sip a glass of wine, a fresh juice, or take a siesta in a hammock as you survey the view from the heights of Port-Vendes. Each room contains an artisan-designed ceramic washbasin with fresh linen and towels provided. The main shared bathroom -on the upper floor- which is adjacent, has a luxury Italian shower, and there is a separate WC. Hairdryer, soaps, shampoos, beauty products and an emergency kit are supplied. There is access to a second bathroom downstairs containing a bath, shower and WC. A communal refrigerator is available for guests' convenience. Guests are welcome to picnic in the shady garden, thumb through the diverse library of books or borrow from our collection of documentaries on DVD, or access our WIFI Internet. There is a private entrance for guests on the upper floor of the house, complete with outside lighting for safe entry when returning after dark. The two bedrooms in the rear of the house have direct access to the garden and terrace areas. The two bedrooms in the front of the house open onto a balcony with spectacular views of Port-Vendres' hills and vineyards, from which you can enjoy your breakfast.
