A beautiful 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom maison de maitre located in the heart of the King Louis XV Bastide, Carcassonne. Built in 1850, it famously acquired its unique Art Nouveau facade in 1910. In a suitably grand gesture, the French ambassador of Finland gifted the house to his wife in a prenuptial agreement. Sleeping up to 12 guests comfortably, it has a bar room, large, marble-topped kitchen and 2 generous reception rooms leading out on to a private, secluded garden with outside seating.
