Cour des Dames is a beautiful building in the heart of La Rochelle built in the early nineteenth century. It is located between the Market Square and City Hall and has been tastefully restored and decorated so you can enjoy its multiple charms comprising of: an interior patio, conservatory, antique wooden staircase ... That reveals the historic soul of this house. Passionate about design, sensitive to beauty, Elisabeth has carefully selected each object in this house to welcome guests in a setting that combines aesthetics with each individuals wellbeing and pleasure.

Welcome to Escale Rochelaise, our family home in the heart of the city of La Rochelle. You can discover the city, the old port and the seafront all on foot. The best part of the house - its 350 m2 garden and its spa/sauna area called the ZEN DEN. This dedicated area is open all year round and unlimited use is included in all reservations at no extra charge and when you are using it, there will be no other guests in it. There is a Nordic bath (jacuzzi spa, 39 degrees), a Finnish sauna and of course, a cold bucket shower. Breakfast is not served (nor optional). We are downtown and there are plenty of choices for your breakfast and meals. Imagine a breakfast facing the famous towers of La Rochelle? Sublime. For a stay with several people, during school holiday periods, you could privatize (rent in furnished tourist accommodation classified 4*) the entire house or you would be between yourselves, without our presence.
