Barcelona cannot afford to lose its most iconic establishments, or the businesses they housed, which have shaped the cultural identity of our city. This patisserie, a landmark in the Barcelona of the mid-19th century, was born when the city, still separated from the sea by walls, was undergoing its first major urban transformation. Today these windows shine once more, just like they did when they first opened in 1852, and reclaim their legacy, in order to offer Barcelona residents and visitors a place where they can find the finest products, made in our bakery; where they can take a seat, and enjoy a wide selection of traditional products like chocolate, coffee or “coca”, a traditional Catalan pastry, freshly baked in our stone oven.
