Musikhuset København

Musikhuset København presents acoustic music in a beautiful building on Vesterbrogade 59. Audiences can experience classical and contemporary music, folk music, singer-songwriters, jazz, performing art, dance, visual art and poetry. Built in 1782, Musikhuset København holds four concert halls and offers rehearsal rooms and office spaces for orchestras, ensembles, soloists, composers, festival and music organisations. Musikhuset København was created on the initiative of a number of musicians and entrepreneurs and is run as an association open to all members. The City of Copenhagen and a number of foundations support the operation financially.
