Close to the city center of Essen in the part called Stoppenberg this hotel was opened in 2006. The hotel's name "Residenz" from the Latin verb "residere" which means "to live and spend time" does not come from far away. After all this Petul Hotel offers many amenities for a business or leisure guest. Among our guests we host business travelelrs which attend one of the close by trade shows and tourists who want to discover the industrial culture of teh Ruhr-area including the UNESCO world-heritage "Zollverein" once called the most beautiful mine in Europe.
